NORTHAMPTON: Travis Perkins is partnering with Evo-Stik for a non-league football site makeover competition.

As part of Evo-Stik's new sponsorship of the Northern Premier League, the Evo-Stik League, which officially commenced on 1 July, is the first major initiative under the sponsorship, which is open to all clubs playing in all three divisions of the league.

The winning club will receive a £10 000 Travis Perkins voucher, courtesy of both Travis Perkins and Evo-Stik, which can be redeemed at any Travis Perkins merchant nationwide against materials to upgrade club facilities.

Clubs are asked to prove on film, in no more than three minutes, why they deserve to win the prize. The film must also capture the essence of non-league football.

Tony Davison, managing director of Bostik UK, said: "By announcing Evo-Stik as the new sponsor of the NPL, we committed to significantly enhancing the future of non-league football in the North and Midlands, with increased funding and a greater focus on club development and this is the first initiative of many designed for that purpose.

"We are thrilled to be able to work with Travis Perkins, one of our most valued customers, on this campaign, and thank them sincerely for supporting us. The Northern Premier League encompasses 3000 players within 67 clubs, covering an area which houses almost 40% of the country's population so exposure for both Evo-Stik and Travis Perkins during this campaign will be substantial."

Linda Doughty, marketing director at Travis Perkins, said: "We're delighted to be working with Evo-Stik on this project and look forward to helping them support the development of non league clubs as part of their Northern Premier League sponsorship."
