HIGH WYCOMBE: In 23 years of trading, Grant & Stone has achieved its largest turnover month to-date – over £3m.
November was an excellent month with all areas of the diverse business doing exceptionally well, the merchant reported.
Each month the company has found that a particular area of the business has done exceedingly well, but November was the first time that every section "had an amazing month", according to the merchant.
2010 has been a promising year for Grant & Stone with new things planned for 2011 in the plumbing, electrical and building areas.
Officially, the country is not in recession, however, most are feeling the need to cut back, which makes the fact that Grant & Stone is pushing forward and expanding as well as taking on some new staff where vacancies have become available even more of an achievement.
