UK: Seeing in the New Year with a new appointment, Methven has welcomed Simon Woods to the team as sales director for the UK and Europe.
Taking responsibility for the growth of the Methven and Deva brands across these markets and the management of the respective field and internal sales teams, Mr Woods started his new position on 4 January.
Mr Woods joins Methven from Twyford Bathrooms where he held the position of sales director and managed a multi sector, cross functional sales function for two and a half years. Prior to Twyford Bathrooms, Mr Woods spent 10 years with Bostik Ltd as general manager sales where he managed a multi sector, multi branded sales function of 50 and was instrumental in the integration of three businesses into Bostik during a five-year acquisition trail.

There is certainly great potential for the Methven and Deva brands and I am particularly looking forward to the launch of the exclusive Methven brand at Ecobuild and ISH in March.”
Mr Woods’s arrival follows the appointment of Steve Lee as Methven ceo for the UK, Europe and Middle East in November 2010 and a transfer of the Deva business to Methven UK Ltd in December 2010.
