NORTHAMPTON: Martin & Partners Builders and Plumbers Merchants' ‘I Love Independents’ team has had a two-day charity car wash for BackCare, the charity for healthier backs, which was supported by both customers, suppliers and surrounding businesses and raised almost £200.
The car wash equipment was kindly loaned by Makita. This was a follow on event as Mark Leggatt, Martin and Partners Sales Director, completed the London Marathon for this charity in 4 hours 55 min and raised £1300.
Other events planned are a charity family fun day in August, for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire air ambulance and later in the year their very popular Red Wine charity golf day, which is to be held on the 13 October in aid of the Special Baby Care Unit at the Kettering General Hospital and Cancer Research charity’s, played at Cold Ashby Golf Club in Northamptonshire, for details on this golf day or if you would like to enter a team or donate a prize contact Rebecca on 01604 595 540.
