WORCESTER: British television personality and author Christine Hamilton, who starred in the first reality television programme ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’, is shortly to put her jungle experience to good use in a less demanding Midlands woodland setting at M&M Timber in Worcestershire

Around 150 VIP guests from the retail trade and specialist press are expected at M&M Timber’s picturesque 25 acre woodland site on 1 September, where they will be treated to a pre-GLEE trade show launch of M&M Timber’s new garden products, promotional items and extended ranges for 2012.

After a welcome breakfast and following an opening address by managing director Nigel Poyner, visitor groups will be escorted on conducted tours of the extensive manufacturing facilities and timber sawmills. They will also see at first hand the level of investment in state-of-the-art facilities the company has committed to over the last few years, including the impressive drying kilns and pressure treatment plant used in the micronized preservation process that gives M&M Timber products their exceptionally long service life.

“This is likely to be the most significant date in the company’s 30 year history,” says Nigel Poyner, “We are therefore delighted that Christine could find the time from her busy schedule to come and join us on this important day. She has quite a reputation as an entertaining after-dinner speaker and we’re all looking forward to meeting her.”
