ONLINE: Home security specialist Yale is celebrating the success of its online TV channel, with over 22,000 views of its ‘how to’ installation videos in just 12 months.
The Yale SecurityTV channel was added to the Yale website back in October 2010 to help merchants and retailers show their customers how easy it is to replace or update home security products.
Available at www.yale.co.uk, Yale SecurityTV features informative and educational videos on a range of Yale products, from how to fit a Yale euro-profile cylinder, nightlatch or replacement PVCu door handle to how to program and install a Yale certified safe. The video channel also includes advice guides for consumers on the best Yale products for outdoor, holiday and student security.
Catherine Brock, Category Marketing Manager for Yale, says: “Each ‘how to’ video has been created to raise awareness of home security upgrades as a DIY project and to help drive consumers into store. Merchants and retailers can also play the videos on terminals in store or direct customers to Yale SecurityTV as part of their aftersales support.”
