CRICK: PTS has cut the ribbon and made the move to its brand new head office located in Crick, just north of Northampton. The bright red building now known as ‘PTS House’ will provide freshly refurbished office space and improved meeting facilities for the 88 plus members of staff who will be relocating from the existing base in Lutterworth.

Making full use of its own expertise in the renewable energy sector, PTS has made sure that the two storey building is equipped with a 30kW solar PV system, an Air to Air Heat Pump and a range of other energy efficient solutions which will ensure its carbon footprint remains as small as possible.

Ian Church, managing director of PTS, said: “This is a very exciting time as PTS moves to its own new Head Office. We’ve shared premises with our BSS Colleagues for many years and had outgrown the space, PTS House provides us with our own identity along with the further expansion opportunities.

“These new premises have given us the scope to ‘practice what we preach’ in regards to renewable energy products. It was important that we actively did our bit to reduce carbon emissions but also to show visitors the real life results that can be generated. For example, the monitoring display system for our solar panels has been placed in reception along with instructions for guests to see how much energy has been generated to date.”

PTS was previously located at Magna Park in Lutterworth. This base will continue to be used as a distribution centre for BSS Industrial, which is also part of the Travis Perkins plumbing and heating division.
