Travis Perkins played a key role in supporting the £1.5m conversion and renovation of Little Halden Oast House in Rolvenden, winning praise from contractor S Harlow Period Oak.

The Grade II listed Oast House was awarded the Best Domestic Dwelling 2012 by Ashford Borough Council at the Building Construction Awards.

Shaun Harlow, owner of Harlow Period Oak, said: “The breadth of the Travis Perkins product portfolio was a huge asset to this project...the support and advice available through the Aylesford and Ashford branches has laid the blueprint for all future projects.”

Jaime Foster, key accounts executive of Travis Perkins, added: “To have played a part in this award-winning project has been a great experience – it’s a prime example of the strength of the Travis Perkins brand and the extended services that can be provided to meet a broad set of requirements.

“This project was such a success that we are now currently working as the sole supplier to Harlow Period Oak on a new £3m self-build project – we’re incredibly excited to be working with Shaun again and looking forward to seeing the result of this new development.”
