bcg has welcomed Darran Rickards as its new managing director.
Formerly Plumb and Parts Center’s regional trading director for London and the South East, with 27 years in the industry, Mr Rickards brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
He outlined recent changes to the bcg sales structure and explained his vision for the company over the next few years: “We realised that the sales office being split into merchant and retail teams wasn’t working as well as it could.
"As a result, Jonathan Eyre will now be sales director of a unified sales team and Allan Nutter has become bcg’s business improvement director. We’ve also appointed a new contact centre manager, Karen Turner. These changes are all aimed squarely at making improved customer service our number-one priority.
“There have been lots of changes at bcg over the past few years, but I’m looking forward to creating a period of stability and growth here. I want bcg to offer the best service to customers at the right price and to add value to their business.”
