Owlett-Jaton has restructured its sales and commercial teams with the appointment of Tony Williams as national sales manager and Andy Connor as national commercial manager. The changes align with the company’s plans to strengthen the business offer and product portfolio.

Mr Williams (pictured left) has over 30 years’ experience in the fastenings and fixings industry and will head up a new-look sales team with responsibility for managing both internal and external sales teams across Owlett-Jaton.

Mr Connor (pictured below) will take on a new role with wider commercial responsibilities, which include product development and key account management.

Andrew Lowrie, sales operations director for Owlett-Jaton, said: “As our business grows and we focus on delivering a wider product range, while still maintaining the high standards our customers are used to, it was important that we utilised the skills and capabilities of our team.

“Both Tony and Andy have gained a wealth of experience over many years and are well-known within the industry. They are highly qualified and ideally placed to help us achieve our business goals.

“This new consolidated structure will bring together the management of sales, both internally and externally to create a more cohesive approach and maximise our resources across Owlett-Jaton. It will also bring more focus to our commercial development. At the same time Tony will assume responsibility for the Dartford sales office, bringing all of the Owlett-Jaton sales offices under his management, meaning one co-ordinated approach.”

In addition to Mr Williams and Mr Connor’s new roles, Jackie Boorman has been appointed as sales office manager at the Dartford sales office, after being with the business for 32 years. Viv Blacklock will also take up the position of sales operations manager for Owlett-Jaton, retaining responsibility of the Stone sales office.

Mr Lowrie added: “Both Jackie and Viv have extensive knowledge of the Owlett-Jaton market sector and this experience is a great attribute and will be extremely beneficial to the business.”
