Ariston Thermo UK has appointed Howard Leonard as area sales manager for the Home Counties and North London.
Reporting to David Ward, regional sales manager for the south of the UK, Mr Leonard will be responsible for generating new installer business through the company’s national and independent merchant and distribution networks.
Mr Leonard joins Ariston with a wealth of industry knowledge, having worked for various merchant groups and hot water product manufacturers for over 20 years, primarily in managerial roles.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Leonard said: “Ariston is a great company to work for, and I am delighted to have joined it at such an exciting time in its development. Even though there are many players in the boiler manufacturing market, Ariston has a fantastic range of high efficiency products, such as its combi, system and regular boiler range."
He continued: “Looking to the future, the objective is to save energy and become more sustainable within the market – and I’m confident Ariston can provide this through its range of high efficiency boilers, solar panels and heat pump water heaters.”
