Following an increase in demand for more specialist paints, Dulux Trade is bringing together its portfolio of protective coatings under a single banner.
The ‘Protection Range’ is designed to provide decorators with a ‘one-stop-shop’ of solutions to tackle challenges such as mould, rust and the spread of germs in the home.
Supported by new literature, including a definitive guide to the collection and interactive point of sale, the Protection Range banner will make it easier for merchants to market this portfolio of coatings and help their customers identify the right product for the job.
“In market research, we found that more and more decorators are being asked for their help on recommending specialist products and this is coupled with greater consumer awareness of issues such as hygiene in the home,” said Emeka Maduka, brand manager for specialist coatings at Dulux Trade.
“In response, we’ve brought our collection of products under this new banner, making it simpler for decorators to choose from the solutions available and helping store staff to advise their customers with ease.”
The new range features solutions for a number of demands, spanning fire protection with the Dulux Trade Pyroshield portfolio of flame retardant coatings, to solutions such as Cladshield which can be used to tackle corrosion.
