npower has announced a strategic partnership with Greenworks, part of the Saint-Gobain Group, together with its sister brands, Jewson, Graham Plumbers’ Merchant, Minster and Gibbs and Dandy, for the delivery of external wall insulation, part of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO).

In this new approach to deliver energy saving measures directly to British homes, Greenworks will be supporting tradespeople to deliver a great customer experience by raising the skills of contractors and linking manufacturers to support with their technical expertise.

Marcus Jefford, operations and marketing director at Greenworks, said: "npower has targeted the heart of the UK’s housing energy issues by launching a fabric first approach with external wall insulation being at the core of this partnership. Greenworks is pleased to support this partnership and can see this developing into further opportunities."

David Titterton, director of Green Deal and obligations at npower, added: “Certainty and reliability are key to any successful partnership. It’s what we want, our partners want, and more importantly what our customers want. Therefore we are delighted to be working with Greenworks in delivering this part of the ECO and believe their technical and customer focused approach are entirely consistent with our ambitions in this area. We look forward to working further with Greenworks over the coming months and making more of Britain's homes warmer and better insulated.”

Between both businesses, npower has the ability to provide customers with a market-leading product, while driving down the product price, ensuring the customer receives a first class installation at an extremely competitive cost.
