The National Federation of Builders (NFB) has announced the launch of NFB Business & Skills, its dedicated skills and development arm.

The rebrand of NFB Training to NFB Business & Skills follows a change of focus within the business unit, moving as it has into a more consultative, tailored approach to business improvement, personal development and skills training.

Julia Evans, chief executive of the NFB said: “The NFB has been at the forefront of developing improvement programmes to support the emerging strategies and skill requirements of a leaner and more efficient construction industry. We feel that NFB Business & Skills more accurately reflects the work we continue to do in challenging SMEs in the sector to go beyond compliance and achieve excellence.”

The launch of NFB Business & Skills coincides with the launch of the NFB’s latest programme of activity around building information modelling.
