Shower enclosure specialist Lakes Bathrooms has appointed two new product designers, Ben Bright and Arthur Valeyev.
Both new recruits will be working alongside design manager John Scrivens, and their focus will be on developing new shower enclosures, bath screens and associated products.
Mr Bright joins Lakes Bathrooms straight from university, with an honours degree in product design. Mr Valeyev (pictured) joins after several years of working with a similar company in the bathroom market, following a degree in industrial design. According to Lakes Bathrooms, the pair have been given scope to flex their creativity and are working on the complete process of creation from computer design to prototyping and fabrication.
Mr Bright said: “As a local company to me, I’m well aware of Lakes’ reputation for quality products, and it has been a great experience to apply my knowledge in such an innovative environment.”
Mr Valeyev added: “Lakes is an extremely friendly place and I’ve really enjoyed a less structured situation where I can be forming a design on the computer one minute and taking my concept to the workshop in the next. It’s a great way to work.”
