Howarth Timber and Building Supplies recently raised over £1,500 for its chosen charity, Caudwell Children, with two action-packed golf days in Manchester and Rotherham.

More than 90 Howarth Timber customers, suppliers and staff took part in the golf days to support Caudwell Children, a charity supporting disabled children and their families.

Carl Davidson was the winner in Manchester, while John Ormroyd came first place at the Rotherham event.

“We are delighted that the entire business has been so enthused from the very outset in a bid to raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile cause,” said Phil Barman from Howarth Timber.

Chief executive of Caudwell Children Trudi Beswick added: “This is the second year of a three-year partnership with Howarth Timber and we feel honoured to be working with them right across the country. The money raised is having a direct impact on the lives of disabled children and we can’t thank them enough for all of their support.”
