Drayton has named Paul Newlove, of Puzzle Pie, Kent, the winner of its MiFace competition, which set out to find the new face of the brand.

Drayton launched its MiFace competition at the PHEX+ exhibition at Alexandra Palace in May, where installers were invited to enter by having their photograph taken by a professional photographer and state why they should be the face of Drayton.

The entrants’ photographs were then placed on Drayton’s Facebook and Twitter pages, and followers were asked to vote for the winner. These scores were then combined with the judge’s votes, and Mr Newlove came out on top.

Mr Newlove will now appear in Drayton’s upcoming adverts and on its social media channels. “I’ve been using Drayton products for well over twenty years now," he said. "Drayton is one of the big players in the industry and is fantastic at what it does, and I hope it continues for many years to come.

“I think Drayton’s TRV4 is the best valve on the market. Not only does it have a great design but also the pin doesn’t stick - meaning it doesn’t ‘chatter’ - giving it great functionality too.

“I’m really proud to have made the cut and been named as the face of Drayton.”

Farah Shaw, marketing communications manager of Drayton, added: “We’re delighted to announce Paul as the new face of Drayton, and we look forward to working with him over the coming months.

“Paul will be partaking in our Control Hub installer forums - where we aim to engage with installers in order to find out what they need and ensure we provide it – and we invite any other installers who would like to be involved to get in touch with us.”

The runner up of the MiFace competition was Ian Briggs, of IRB Heating, Essex, who scored especially high in the social media voting. A special mention also went to brothers Robert and Ron Willis of Kent, who between them have over 100 years experience installing Drayton products.
