Four-year agreement for new-build and retro-fit projects
Altecnic, the UK's leading supplier of hydronic solutions and part of the Caleffi Group, has been awarded a four-year agreement by L&Q housing association to supply Heat Interface Units for new build and retro-fit properties.
The agreement means Altecnic will be a preferred HIU supplier to the charitable housing association which currently houses around 250,000 people in more than 95,000 homes, mainly across London and the South East. In addition, L&Q plans to build an additional 100,000 properties over the next ten years.
Altecnic was chosen as preferred supplier due to the technical features of its SATK32 range of HIUs which offer return temperature limitation, configurable hot water pre-heat and settable maximum primary flow rate all of which result in maximum efficiency for the unit and any heat networks. Modbus output also enables remote fault diagnostics and re-configuration.
