We are retained by an innovative European manufacturer and supplier of specialist M & E / Commercial Heating Products, who due to continued growth, are seeking to recruit a professional Area Sales Manager to join their team covering the North of England.

Our Client’s products are high quality, innovative and competitively priced which along with their focus on customer service make them a market leader across the globe. They have a very successful business in the UK and are looking to now move to the next level and grow more UK market share.

The Role

Our Clients are looking for an experienced sales professional to manage existing accounts and to build new business across a widespread marketplace including OEM, Contractors and Consultants.

Reporting To

Sales Director

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a business plan for Key Account development
  • To visit all contacts on the company database on a regular basis
  • Ensure all leads are followed up
  • To develop productive and strong business relationships across the client base including Retail, Education, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Energy and OEM.
  • Organise and complete technical presentations as and when required
  • To inform and present all new and existing products and services to all customers to aid in specification and order of all products



  • Knowledge & experience of working within the Commercial Heating, HVAC, M & E  industries would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in a Technically led sales role or Engineering position would be advantageous

Qualifications required

Ideally, the successful candidate will be educated to HNC level, but is not essential; you must be able to demonstrate at least 2 years relevant experience in selling/dealing with M & E Contractors


Location/Area: North of England

Salary: Negotiable + Bonus
