The Role

Reporting to: Sales Director

The aim of this role will be to promote our Client’s comprehensive range of Plumbing & Heating products by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key national and independent Merchant accounts throughout the Greater Dublin area.

You will aim to develop strong links with the existing customer base in order to develop sales generation which can be fed back through our Client’s supply chain alongside generating new Contractor, Consultant and Developer business.

Responsibilities

  • Build, and maintain relationships within a well-established merchant customer base across the agreed territory.
  • To establish the brand as the number one preferred choice of professional plumbers, engineers and installers.
  • Gather intelligence on competitors’ activities and product development.
  • To promote new and existing product ranges when required
  • Represent the company at industry Trade Shows and marketing events
  • Work to meet and exceed agreed sales growth targets.
  • Identify key contractors and consultants working within Local Authority, Multiple Occupancy, Residential, Education and Leisure to promote the features and benefits of the commercial product catalogue.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Experience in external sales management is essential
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (customer focused)
  • Knowledge of the Plumbing & Heating Industry would be highly advantageous
  • Energetic self-starter who can work on own initiative within a team environment
  • Good time management skills, with ability to work well under pressure

 

Location/Area: DUBLIN, WICKLOW, MEATH, KILDARE,

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience + Attractive Bonus incentive
