Its products include Residential, Bi-Fold, Patio and Fire Doors plus Window, Conservatory and Patio solutions crafted from a range of PVC-U, Aluminium, Timber and Composite materials.
Our Client’s dynamic senior management team are looking for positive, energetic results oriented sales professionals to share in their vision of building a stronger business through the development of new commercial relationships to compliment its traditional activity.
Knowledge and experience of the traditional construction product routes to market across your area is a pre-requisite. Establishing and developing relationships with National and Independent Builder’s Merchants, House Builders, Social Housing Authorities and Contractors will be fundamental to success in this role.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required
Whilst full brand specific training will be given, a working knowledge of the UK’s Construction, knowledge of the fenestration market and the company’s product categories and competitors would be an advantage. A basic awareness of sector legislation and compliance criteria would also be a valuable asset. As our Client is looking to expand into the Builders Merchant distribution sector they are willing to consider Candidates who have experience in the sales of Building Envelope products through the Merchant sector.
The successful candidate will be a positive self-motivated, confident and smart sales professional with a clear concise communication style with the ability to plan and organise their activity and flexible enough to respond to changing business needs. The ability to work as part of a wider team is also important as is being able to work under pressure, achieve targets, meet deadlines and solve problems creatively.
The role calls for the person to be numerate, literate and competent with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Whilst full training will be given in the use of the company’s CRM and sales tracker system, the individual should have the ability to analyse data and identify trends to capitalise on opportunities and limit threats.
