DONCASTER: Centurion Europe, the distributor of tools and hardware, has appointed Peter Bird as its new area sales manager for the South West.
His area will cover Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Huntingdonshire, Dorset and Berkshire.
With extensive experience in the trade and in DIY sales, Mr Bird (44) has worked for Sadolin, Crown Paints and Brewers.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: "Not only does this give me the opportunity to offer a wide range of excellent and fast-moving products, but it also enables me to work closely with customers, ensuring sell-through by providing top quality displays, innovative merchandising solutions, layout advice and promotional programmes."
