ENFIELD: A body was discovered yesterday near the Travis Perkins yard in Palmers Green. The human remains are believed to be those of a man, although the body was burned, according to local newspaper reports.
Police have cordoned Broomfield Lane and Bridge Drive that adjoin the east side of the Travis Perkins builders' yard.
Initial reports suggest the body was found under the railway bridge that flanks the site to the west.
Police are conducting door-to-door enquiries and anyone with information is asked to call 0208 345 4589.
