We are recruiting an Operations Manager to run a team within a well-respected distributor of timber / building related products.
Role: Branch Operations Manager – Transport and Warehouse
Sector: Timber Supplies / Construction Materials
Location: Bristol
Salary: £35,000 - £48,000 + Benefits – No Weekend Working!
We are looking for an ambitious, motivated and methodical individual with supervisory experience within Transport and Warehousing. Hopefully this experience is derived from a current role within the builders merchants world or a sector that would mean you have relevant transferable skills.
You should be familiar with efficient route planning and knowing how large vehicles should be loaded for weight distribution etc. Understanding the warehouse environment will also be crucial and the health and safety of yourself as well as your colleagues will also be very important.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE A TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT CPC CARD AND AN IOSH QUALIFICATION FOR THIS ROLE.
