If so, we are working with one of the world’s leading designers and Manufacturers of Fire Protection Products for the UK and Overseas markets whose growth is attributable to over 40 years of innovation, intelligent manufacturing and technical expertise.

They are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Specification Specialist to join their team in this newly created role due to rapid growth and expansion with responsibility for gaining usage of their products and solutions within the MID TO HIGH END RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL SECTORS.

The Role

Your role is multi- faceted. You will have a minimum of 5yrs experience in a similar role and / or a professional qualification which is relevant to our Client’s industry.

If you do not have a professional qualification, you will be required to study for one. This will be supported by our Client.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

You will be experienced in delivering technical CPD’s to professional clients.

You will be experienced in liaising with all stakeholders relevant to the supply chain:

  • Architects
  • Developers
  • Main Contractors
  • Sub-Contractors

You will be used to working autonomously, whilst providing regular updates to the Sales Director.

You will have existing relationships with the above stakeholders and will generate your own workload via the following means (list is not exhaustive)

  • Live project follow up with architects. (Via Tech team / Barbour or similar)
  • Live project follow up with MC. (Via Tech team / Barbour or similar)
  • Live project follow up with SC. (Via Int Sales team)
  • Structured face to face meetings with all stakeholders relevant to the business.

You will use the ERP system to create and track a project pipeline which will be required to generate a weekly forecast.

You will attend a bi-monthly one-to-one meeting with Sales Director.

You will attend a bi-monthly National Sales Meeting with external and internal colleagues.

You will provide a world class service to all stakeholders within your designated territory (in conjunction with your internal sales team) and the wider business units.

A minimum of 12 qualified external meetings per week. (Mix to be agreed)

ERP project tracker fully updated by COB every working week.

1No customer visit to HQ per month.

1No home office day per week. (Additional days to be agreed with the Sales Director)

Diary to be populated a minimum of 2 weeks in advance

1 telephone call per day with internal team member
