FINLAND: Anna Burns has been appointed executive vice-president product line management and innovation for the Sanitec Group.
Ms Burns, the current marketing director of Twyford Bathrooms, will take up her new Sanitec Group position, spearheading a Europe-wide product development and design team, with immediate effect.
At Twyford Bathrooms, as an interim structure, Anil Madan and Mark Winfield will share responsibility for marketing and communications, reporting directly to managing director Mike Conlon.
Mr Madan, brand manager at Twyford Bathrooms will take over daily responsibility for advertising and marketing while Mr Winfield will co-ordinate the activities of the Twyford product management team.
Commenting on the changes, Mr Conlon said: "Anna has been presented with a great opportunity, and while we are sorry to lose her from Twyford Bathrooms, we are comforted by the fact that she is remaining within Sanitec and will be playing a major role in future product development, not only for Twyford Bathrooms but for all Sanitec brands."
