Our Client is a specialist provider of thermal insulation and associated products and consultancy to the construction industry in the UK

Our Client is recruiting a BDM for the East and West Midlands area. This role will include dealing with existing, and prospecting for new clients. Although the roles are sales targets driven, the emphasis for experience is on knowledge of the construction industry with an ambition and aptitude to work in sales.

Our Clients are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to cover the East and West Midlands.
Key responsibilities to win and track specifications through the full sales cycles for their Thermal Insulation Solutions, targeting National and Regional Housebuilders
Where possible break others specifications by identifying and highlighting their system benefits over traditional methods used.
Dealing with a variety of decision makers within their preferred target customers, to include Technical Managers, Commercial Managers, Q.S's & Buyers.

The Role

What You Need Is:

  • Experience of working in and/or dealing with the construction industry
  • Proven organisational skills & planning ability
  • Account management
  • Ability to work on own initiative & within a team
  • A superb relationship building ability
  • A proven track record and ability to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly Sales targets

Desirable Skills:

  • Sales experience
  • Construction supplies sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years field sales experience
  • Full clean driving license
