We are recruiting a Business Development Manager with account management / area sales experience within the commercial interiors / fit out sector.

Responsible for business development and account management within the South / Central London region, the successful Business Development Manager will be selling a range of commercial interior systems and solutions (ceilings, partitions, flooring, drywalls and associated products) into wide range of clients including Main and Sub Contractors, Drylining Contractors, Suspended Ceiling, Flooring & Drywall Installers.  

Focused on sales development within the south / central London area and managing relations with people at all levels including the senior buyers from within the larger contractors, you will inherit a portfolio of c. 100 customers with an annual spend of £8-10m.

The successful Business Development Manager will have the drive and desire to succeed.  This is a fast paced, busy role and preferably we would like to hear from candidates with previous experience within the commercial interiors sector - be it working for a manufacturer, a distributor or a builders merchant in an area sales manager or external account manager role.  In return you will receive a very healthy renumeration package.

  • Do you have experience selling into the Contractor / Construction Market?
  • Do you have experience selling drylining materials, commercial interiors, insulation materials, suspended ceilings, partitioning, cladding, facades, systems, roofing?
  • Are you in a sales role for a builders merchants or other form of construction sales?
