Our client is seeking a dynamic individual that has previous experience in an external or internal role and will contribute to maximising the performance of the Depot by developing existing accounts and to bring in new business. This position is for an experienced individual that good product knowledge and has the ability to build relationships from site to Director Level 

Reporting to: SALES MANAGER  

Working along with the team you will be promoting the company to exciting sectors including HOUSE BUILDERS, DEVELOPERS & CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES in Central London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop both new & existing clients and to keep in regular contact to achieve absolute loyalty
  • Create and fulfill client opportunities, following agreed procedures
  • Educate customers on product range   
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements , research accounts , identify key players
  • Maintain & expand your data base
  • Analyse monthly customer sales report to identify customer trends and take action on declining or underutilised accounts

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in sales  in the Tool / Plant Hire sector
  • Experience within the construction supply sector
  • Self motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Confident and professional telephone manner  
  • Effective communication skills
  • Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
  • Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook


Location/Area: LONDON – CITY
