LONDON: Circle Housing Group is to bundle its responsive repairs and maintenance into a 10-year framework agreement worth £1.6bn.

On an annual basis, each framework lot should see a steady flow of over £20m of investment from the housing group's main trading associations, which together run 61 000 homes.

The framework consists of six lots each between £155m and £340m. Contractors can bid for up to three lots but one of these must be either a responsive repair or planned maintenance package.

Housing association firm Circle will be holding a bidders day event in London on Wednesday 3 August and further details will be set out in the pre-qualification questionnaire.

An invitation to tender will be issued on 8 September with up to five firms invited to bid for each lot.

Housing associations involved are: Circle Support, Mercian Housing Association, Merton Priory Homes, Mole Valley Housing Association, Old Ford Housing Association, Roddons Housing Association, Russet Homes, South Anglia Housing, and Wherry Housing Association.
