TIPTREE: Dale Windows, along with Mumford & Wood, Clearwood UK, Timber Windows and The English Glasshouse, is part of PWG, which has announced the move to bring logistics, support and back office functions under one umbrella at its Tiptree base in Essex.
The reorganisation will, says PWG, provide considerable efficiencies and economies of scale and support the company’s drive toward a £25 million turnover in timber windows and doors in 2012 while enabling each individual member of the group to retain its own distinct identity.
Dale Windows now supply more than 200 builders merchants across the UK with a complete timber window and door service, the success of which is due to its unique online ordering system as well as the quality of the products on offer.
In addition to the reorganisation, the company has also confirmed product development throughout the PWG range will be ongoing ensuring customers and installers of Dale Windows can expect continual upgrades and new additions to product lines.
The diverse manufacturing base also means that PWG can accommodate everything from the fine tailoring and bespokery necessary to service listed buildings to the provision of a range of products that are perfect for the builders’ merchant.
PWG turnover has grown from £6 million to £20 million in the past six years.
