ERA, leading manufacturer of home security and fenestration products, has launched a new range of repair friction stays for PVCu, timber and aluminium casement windows.
Designed to replace existing 13mm and 17mm stack height stays, the new Repair Friction Stays offer ease of installation for buyers, with one stay per box and three clip on packers to accommodate height stacks between 13mm and 17mm, ensuring a straightforward and hassle-free replacement process and a perfect fit every time.
Available in three sizes of 10", 12", and 16”, the stays cover a wide variety of window dimensions, providing distributors with a comprehensive solution for their customers.
Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, and tested in accordance with BS EN 10088-2:2014, the new Friction Stays promise long-lasting corrosion resistance in challenging weather conditions.
The stays have also been rigorously tested in accordance with BS EN 13126-6:2008 and BS 6375-1:2009 to ensure a durable and reliable design, which guarantees performance with maximum window carrying weights and sizes.
In addition, they also meet the requirements of BS 6375-1:2006, having been tested to 25,000 cycles of opening to ensure long-term functionality and performance.
A pointed arm and nylon end cap provide gasket compression and smooth engagement when opening and closing, as well as an anthracite grey end cap and nylon components designed to enhance the look of the stay once installed.
For added convenience for distributors, ERA’s Repair Friction Stay packaging features a Euro hook, allowing for easy display in retail settings.
Darren Bates, Head of Sales – Distribution and Customer Experience at ERA, said: "Our goal at ERA has always been to provide high-quality, innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers, offering them maximum reliability and peace of mind.
