SOUTHAMPTON: Independent merchant, Elliott Brothers, is to distribute SolidStart 225i, an I-joist manufactured using oriented strand board, designed for use as a timber joist replacement.
The product was launched at Ecobuild last month by US company, LP Building Products.
Al Huber, LP Building Products' international sales manager, said: "Interest at the show was exceptional for the 225i product and LP SolidStart LSL as a rim board and floor joists. The result was that we not only received product orders, but also of a number of new stocking dealer locations, like the one we now have with this leading Hampshire builders' merchant."
