Our client is a well-respected distributor of building materials into the construction sector. They are recruiting a Senior Branch Manager / General Manager to oversee the operations of an important site.

  • Managing circa 25 staff
  • £10m+ turnover
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Departmental Managers reporting into the role
  • Natural leader and man manager
  • Motivation of other Managers
  • Working knowledge of the Construction Supplies / Building Materials / Builders Merchants / Timber Supplies sector
  • P&L, stock and service accountability
  • Ability to trade in terms of sales and procurement
  • Strategic planning / management

This role requires a special someone - a robust Branch Manager from the world of the builders merchants, timber merchants or specialist distributors of building materials / construction supplies within the Construction sector.  

With the experience of successfully running a large site along with a dynamism and drive to always maximise potential.  The right person needs the right blend of sales drive with strong operational skills and experience
