SLOVENIA: Gorenje, the Slovenian manufacturer famed for its creative and innovative appliances, joined Hollywood star Kevin Costner to raise money for a good cause at a Diners Club of Slovenia event.
Actor, director and winner of two Academy Awards, Kevin Costner, and his country rock band Modern West, played for an audience of more than 1200 guests at a black tie dinner in Slovenia.
The event also included a charity auction along with donations, which raised €25 000 for the Friends of the Youth Association of Slovenia and will be used to pay for summer holidays for more than 150 children from economically deprived Slovenian families.
