Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme that aims to help organisations to protect themselves against online threats.

Grant UK has been awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus Certificate of Compliance, the highest level of certification offered under the Cyber Essentials Scheme which assesses the online security of IT infrastructures within businesses.

Launched in 2014, Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme that aims to help organisations to protect themselves against online threats. Using an independent framework, it assesses an organisation’s IT infrastructure to ascertain its ability to prevent and avoid cyber attacks on the business.

The Scheme consists of two tiers of compliance – Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus – and Grant UK has passed both levels of assessment.

For over three years, Grant UK has held the Cyber Essentials Certificate of Compliance and in November this year, the Company underwent additional assessment to earn the Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification offered under the Scheme, rigorously testing an organisation’s cyber security systems. Passing this assessment and holding the Cyber Essentials Plus certification reflects Grant UK’s ongoing commitment to protect customer data, ensuring that best-practice security protocols are used to protect and prevent against cyber-attacks.
