The Role

Reporting to: Branch Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual with previous sales experience, preferably in the merchanting or distribution sectors.

Main duties involve:

  • Growing existing customer ledger by maintaining and developing relationships with customers and listening to customers’ requirements.
  • Actively dealing with all sales enquires, converting sales and offering appropriate upsells.
  • Communicating and adapting to a variety of customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Developing customer base by identifying and researching new customer opportunities.
  • Achieving monthly sales targets and meeting KPI’s.

The Candidate

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to enjoy working within a busy sales environment as part of a small dedicated team where professionalism and a high level of customer service are key to success.

Other skills and qualities required include:

  • You must be a self-starter who is independent, hands-on and organised
  • You must have good interpersonal, communication and team building skills, comfortable with working in a casual and friendly but motivated team environment

Location/Area: Essex

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience

Working hours: Mon- Fri
