WORCESTER: BCG, distributor of kitchens, bathrooms and heating finalised the results from its annual customer survey this week and announced the winner of its 10 000 Airmiles prize – C&D (Leeds) Plumbers' Merchants.
That is enough to send one person to Sydney and back, or a family of four on a return trip as far as Cyprus.
John Clydesdale, the merchant's director said: "We have decided to put the Airmiles into a reward scheme for our staff. We have already collected a number of Airmiles from BCG in the first quarter of this year and now have a healthy amount that will be awarded to staff for exceptional contribution to the business.
"I will definitely be filling out more customer surveys in future," he said.
The survey measures customer satisfaction and loyalty across all departments within the business. The results are eagerly awaited by all at BCG, as they give a good indication of what parts of the service offering are meeting/exceeding customers' expectations, and what specific areas could be improved upon.
This year's results showed that customers' perceptions of BCG's service, largely remained consistent with previous years, and customers' ratings of BCG's field based sales team, had measurably improved.
Simon Macklin, BCG's customer services director said: "This type of survey is critical to any business wanting to stay ahead of the game. It is one of the most effective ways of us acquiring information to questions we wouldn't or couldn't normally ask a customer and an opportunity for them to be brutally honest with us in confidence."With the introduction of Airmiles in January we thought it apt to incentivise our customers, by entering completed surveys into a draw to win a substantial number of miles.
