The third generation family-owned business will be based at Manchester Business Park. The company has a turnover of £7.5m and employs around 190 people.
Manley will target work across the north west, M6 corridor, London, the south west and Home Counties. The UK team has already secured a place on the Procure Plus New Build Framework. The four-year framework will see Manley Construction assist the Trafford Park-based regeneration company and members of its social housing consortium to maintain around 195,000 properties in the region.
Gabriel Manley, managing director of Manley Construction UK, said: “We have a long and proud heritage in Ireland in which we have established ourselves as a key player on mid-to-large scale projects.
“This is exactly the area where we see significant potential to develop our UK operations from our new base in Manchester. The north west has a world-class construction supply chain which we can tap into and use as a springboard for our growth.”
