Marley, the UK’s leading roof system manufacturer, has appointed Kevin Taylor as Training and Technical Support Manager.

With a wealth of experience in roofing and construction, Taylor gained his early expertise ’on the tools’ before entering further education as a lecturer both at Bolton College and Leeds College of Building, where his apprentices gained success in the National SkillBuild competition on several ocassions.

Taylor subsequently worked at the National Federation of Roofing Contractors, heading up technical and training, while driving change to reduce roof failure as well as working on the extensive BS5534 revision.

An accomplished author, Taylor penned the roofing bible, ’Roof Tiling and Slating – A Practical Guide’, which is widely used in training centres and colleges across the UK.
