Mind Coach John Dabrowski, an expert on mental resilience, is the latest keynote speaker confirmed for the Builders Merchants Federation’s Members Day Annual Conference and Awards 2018 next month.
Dabrowski (pictured) was a professional basketball player before entering the world of advertising and becoming a multi-award-winning agency director. He has spent more than 30 years in the business world, putting him in a unique position to deal with contemporary business challenges. At the Members Day conference, he will share techniques for developing mental toughness that are applicable to both sports and business.
He will also run an afternoon workshop on mental resilience and confidence building, one of three hour-long workshops on offer to delegates.
The theme of the BMF Members Day Annual Conference and Awards 2018 is “the future belongs to the bold”. The business conference is followed by a black-tie awards dinner, which celebrates the achievements of young people working in the industry. Both take place on 27 September.
The BMF’s annual golf tournament and other social activities will be held on 26 September, when delegates will have an opportunity to look around St George’s Park, England football's training facility, where Members Day Annual Conference and Awards 2018 is being held.
