
BILSTON: Mueller Europe has begun a strategic marketing programme to drive its leading Wednesbury brand of copper tube further around the globe.
Currently the investment is being used to completely revamp the lorries within the transport division, which will be instrumental in spreading the ‘Wednesbury' Streamline message to its customers.
Neil Overton, Mueller Europe's sales and marketing director, explains: "We are working to an extensive branding programme in order to incorporate the Wednesbury name into everything we produce, whether it be our website, transport, even the paper that goes to our customers.
"The brand has so many connotations behind it including heritage, premium quality, reliability, lifetime guarantee. The brand has been established for over seven decades and today it's still favoured heavily by plumbers, which is fantastic."
This development also comes after a recent survey has shown that Wednesbury Streamline was voted the leading UK brand across 1000 members of the Institute of Professional Heating Engineers.
