NOTTINGHAM: AGA Rangemaster has appointed John Peter as its new trade sales director, to further strengthen the position of Leisure Sinks and its sister companies throughout the UK market. He is responsible for developing and expanding the business nationwide, and is keen to expand the company’s product range among its existing customer base.

Mr Peter brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, having worked in the kitchen and bathroom industry for almost 30 years. He held key positions at Astracast and Jacuzzi, which saw him play an instrumental part in developing and marketing composite sinks.

In his new role, Mr Peter will be managing trade activities for the Leisure Sinks, Rangemaster and Falcon brands, as he looks to build upon successful relationships with merchants, developers, contractor supply chains and kitchen manufacturers.

Speaking about his new role, Mr Peter enthused: “I am looking forward to the challenges ahead. While some may see this as a tough sector to operate in at the moment, I believe that a focused and efficient approach will enable us to grow our market share significantly. By introducing the right products and services to our existing customer base, I am confident we can make real progress, especially on the sink side of the business.”

He continued: “I have been working in the sink industry since the early 1980s and I love how its trends and fashions have evolved over the years. I know from experience that hard work pays off and I believe that by adopting the same ethos at Leisure Sinks and its sister companies, we can achieve great things.”

Mr Peter will be based at AGA Rangemaster’s sink manufacturing plant in Long Eaton, Nottingham.
