Our Client is looking to appoint an experienced Design and Sales Consultant to join them at the Southampton Branch.

Our Client is an independent supplier of specialist construction products in the UK, offering over 6,000 product lines to builders merchants, civil engineering, groundwork, building, and specialist contractors.                 

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Technical Sales Advisor located in Southampton. The role will involve being a first point of contact for customer sales enquiries and queries for the branch and being responsible for proactively driving branch profitability generating new and developing existing business.

Skills

  • Ensure that customer service excellence is provided at all times.
  • Troubleshooting and Sales skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
  • Previous experience in sales or technical support is a plus
  • Experience within the construction industry would be ideal but not essential
  • Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, “can do” attitude and passion for our Client’s product range.
  • Team Player
  • Outbound calling and email to build a relationship and generate sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly and that customer expectations are met
  • A proven track record and ability to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly Sales targets

Salary: Basic Negotiable and Annual Bonus Scheme
