If so, we are working with one of the world’s leading designers and Manufacturers of Exterior Building Products for the UK and Overseas markets whose growth is attributable to over 40 years of innovation, intelligent manufacturing and technical expertise.

They are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated TECHNICAL MANAGER join their team in this newly created role due to consistent growth and expansion both in the UK and Overseas.

The Role

  • Developing and updating Technical Files
  • Assist in New Product Development
  • Assist in New Market Entry

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Technical element of New Product Development
  • Research & identify New Market Requirements
  • Assisting in executing New Market entry
  • Creation of new Technical Files
  • Ongoing management of Technical File
  • Management of Technical Team ( 2 Engineers)

Other Duties

  • Working with colleagues across the business on Key Projects
  • Supporting the Technical Director for one off activities

Key Experiences and Qualifications:

  • A good technical understanding of fire
  • Construction Product background
  • Experience of working within the Construction Industry
  • At least 5 years relevant work experience within a Technical Managers role
  • Project Management experience
  • Relevant Engineer Degree (desirable)
  • IFE Level 3 (desirable)

Location and Travel

Remote working is available with visits to our Clients office as required (approximately 2/3 per month) in the Avon area along with the ability to travel overseas to assist in New Market entry when required.
