Our client is a fast-growing Renewable Heating company that save consumers money and energy, help reduce the cost of running an estate of properties and enable smart energy consumption.

This is possible because of their unique technology control signals that can come from the consumer, the housing association or the utility.

They actively sell into a number of different sales channels, specifically: utilities, developers, housing associations/local authorities, installation contractors and direct to consumers. 

Due to serious growth our client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Technical Sales Executive to nurture, develop and organically grow established key clients, customers along with growth accounts.

As part of our client’s ambitious growth plans the Key Account Manager must identify and build long standing trusting business relationships with the relevant key decision makers and deeply understand their businesses (needs/challenges and opportunities) in order to impactfully frame the organisations value proposition and secure strategic long-term business. By establishing these strategic relationships, you will unveil opportunities ranging from specifications in new property developments, a rolling upgrade plan in an existing housing stock or even a new retail tariff offering links to the system.

Key activities & Responsibilities:

  • Fronting our internal sales efforts for consumers and installers.
  • Ensuring high quality and accurate quotes are turned around quickly and diligently, responding to inbound sales enquiries.
  • Working hard to proactively recruit new installers (plumbing and renewables companies) to join their national installer network.
  • Undertake training with, and support the onboarding of new installers.
  • Accounts manage their installer network to ensure high levels of engagement.
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of opportunities with our installer network.
  • Offer class leading customer service at each customer interaction.
  • Provide technical support to installers and customers should they call us with questions and are in need of technical support.
  • Proactively close out technical cases and follow up with customers to ensure they are completely satisfied.
  • Driving high-levels of customer engagement and develop valued relationships.
  • Working as part of the close-knit customer fulfilment and sales team.
  • Delivering high quality work output.
  • Offer high quality communications both internally and externally. Using our CRM system diligently (salesforce.com).
  • Managing time effectively.

How is success measured...?

  • Successful growth and development of their installer base and sales orders
  • Building and managing a clean pipeline of sales quotes on our CRM system salesforce.com
  • Diligently follow up existing and new sales leads and close out appropriately
  • Carefully manage customer expectations (price/lead-time etc.)
  • Converting contractor/installer enquiries into ‘approved installers’ – sell them the benefits of becoming an installation partner and grow this national network.
  • Ensuring technical cases are logged on salesforce.com and closed out as fast as possible.
  • Ensuring our client has a minimum score of 4.5stars (out of 5) on google reviews.
  • Your individual contributions feature in the ‘customer fulfilment dashboard’ -this highlights the collective success of the department

Salary & Benefits: High Basic Salary (up to £40,000) + up to 20% OTE + Pension + Full Benefits + Further learning and development

Location: Remote (Home | Field)- Fixed Position - South Central UK- Must be within a commutable distance of Oxford and be willing to travel occassionally.
