As a company they provide an in house technical team ensuring all design, production, delivery and erection services are client focussed and sustainable.                                                         

Due to internal promotion, they are seeking a TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER to develop their sales of TIMBER ENGINEERED PRODUCTS in Central England.

Reporting to: MD

As TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER your role will be to build and maintain relationships with Regional / National Housebuilders, Construction Companies and Developers. offering product, sales, and technical support and to work and also to source new business

Key Responsibilities as TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

  • Research the market to find possible new business opportunities
  •  Work closely with the estimating team in submitting quotations
  • Quoting and costing customer requirements 
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
  • Maintain & expand your data base
  • Prepare and deliver quotations to the project and design teams 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Face to face selling and negotiation skills 
  • Strong knowledge & experience in the Timber Engineering Sector  
  • Excellent presenting skills 
  • On site experience with Timber Frame
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Effective communication skills
  • Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
  • Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook

 

Location/Area: Central England
