The Role
The UK Sales & Managing Director will:

  • Lead the UK subsidiary as part of the Group’s senior commercial management team.
  • Shape the sales office culture into a high-performance, growth-driven organisation.
  • Drive market expansion by securing new customers, entering new segments, and deepening engagement with existing accounts.
  • Strengthen the specification business in the UK by benchmarking against peer markets and building a robust long-term growth plan.
  • Develop efficient operational and administrative processes, including stock management, pricing, compliance, and system integration.
  • Act as a key interface with Group headquarters, ensuring UK customer needs are aligned with Group production and strategy.
  • Represent the business externally with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking a commercially astute and entrepreneurial leader with:

  • Significant senior sales and general management experience in technical building products B2B environments.  This could be decorative timber, flooring, panels, surface products or associated categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business, manage key accounts, and grow market share, both directly and via a team
  • Experience with multi-channel businesses, including trade distribution and direct
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to implement effective systems and frameworks.
  • Leadership capability to build, inspire and develop teams to deliver ambitious targets.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic style, able to balance strategy with execution.
  • European language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK/Ireland and to Group sites in Europe
