Warehouse Picker and Packer responsibilities:

  • Picking and assemble customers’ orders
  • Ensure the correct goods are delivered
  • Quality checking
  • Moving stock around the warehouse
  • Maintain filing and paperwork
  • Monitor outstanding orders
  • Maintain clean and tidy work area for Health and Safety purposes
  • Preparing Click & Collect and Delivered orders for collection
  • Ensure the correct packaging is used for the different type of products
  • Always ensure packaging stock availability
  • Being up-to-date with the couriers’ packaging rules of collections and returns delivery requirements and time tables
  • Reporting damages or stock discrepancies to their line manager
  • Other ad-hoc Ecommerce duties

Warehouse Picker and Packer skills:

  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Good team player and target driven
  • Ability to prioritise work to achieve deadlines under pressure and withstand interruptions
  • Being able to follow instructions and guidelines
