Wolseley Infrastructure has celebrated talent across the business with a apprentice graduation and two long-service awards.
Technical Director Neal Lambert has reached his 35th anniversary working at Fusion Utilities. He has held over ten different roles throughout his career there, from Injection Moulding Operative to Branch Manager.
Commenting on what kept him with the business throughout the years, Neal Lambert: “It has to be the company culture: hardworking, loyal, honest and relentless. We have the best people in this industry, and we all work together to maintain this statement.”
Technical Sales Manager Andrew Taylor is also about to reach a milestone, having been with Burdens for almost twenty years.
Commenting on his long service, he said: “Being part of this journey is exciting. I started as a Sales Negotiator back in November 2003 and have been consistently offered roles of progression throughout the years as a reward for my continued hard work and loyalty.
“There is a clear progression plan that allows employees to continue to hone their skillset and take on more responsibility to keep the business and its employees continually evolving.”
Wolseley Infrastructure is also focused on developing the next generation of talent in the construction industry. Kyle Robinson, Central Operations Co-ordinator, began his journey at Wolseley Infrastructure as an apprentice and has recently won the Customer Support and Administration Apprentice of the Year Award.
This award is an example of the initiatives that Wolseley Infrastructure has in place to reward its employees, should they attain a valuable goal or go above and beyond their role.
Commenting on the award win, Robinson said: “It was quite a surreal experience to be fair — it was exhilarating to find out I had won that award. I really think this shows how good the Wolseley Infrastructure apprenticeship system is. The support I have been offered along the way is second to none.”
